Next year, Apple intends to open 40 to 50 additional retail stores to serve customers closer.

Launched Yahoo Tech, Friday (13.11.2009), many retail stores will be built in several locations outside the United States, such as London, Paris and two outlets in Shanghai. Apple itself until now has operated approximately 280 retail stores spread over 10 countries.

The first Apple retail store, built in 2001 and has become the store most visited consumer. In September alone, approximately 45.9 million visitors came to the Apple Store, an increase of approximately 7 percent over the previous year.
