Released Google Maps to Find Flu Vaccine
This feature is a result of Google's collaboration with the Department for Health and Human Services and the American Lung Association.
On the page 'flu shots', the user can enter a postal code or city name. After that, the system will
get the flu vaccine availability in the region in question. Such information is quoted from CNet, Wednesday (11/11/2009).
Google says, this feature as a tool dimkasudkan availability of information dissemination and contribute to flu vaccine in the health field. With this device are expected to treat people early flu before they become more severe.
So far, Google's new data provide the flu vaccine provider locations in 20 U.S. states. Google will continue to expand its service coverage area by establishing partnership with various pharmaceutical companies to add more information on the availability of flu vaccine for more than 50 countries.
Earlier, in May and then when the spread of the deadly flu virus circulating boom, Google also provides a feature spread of the virus through the Google Maps service.
